Schwarzeliste - Beartooth & The Amity Affliction – 19.02.2020

Right before the realease on an upcoming album, Beartooth are on tour for the last time to celebrate their album Disease.
On february 19, they played at Kofmehl – Solothurn.

At first, the Australian band The Amity Affliction are here to warm up the crowd. They open their set with some new songs from their brand new album Everyone Loves You... Once You Leave Them.

The leader Joel Birch doesn't have to do a lot of effort to get the people to sing along with him and Ahren Stringer (bass and clean voice) because a lot of TAA fans are here. He just needs to give a little help to open the pit up. Quickly, pogos and singalongs are here all concert long. The room is now full of heat and people are excited. TAA played well and did a great job preparing the crowd for the headliners.

After a while, Beartooth are coming on stage with a strong intro : electronic guitar sounds and a promising light show. Caleb Shomo is making the room jump as soon as he gets on stage, and as they start playing The Lines, confetti are decorating the air.

There are two stages on the stage, which allow the band to stay in movement and give different visuals to complete the loght show.

One of Beartooth's strength is their chorus : easy to remember and really lively. Everyone in the one is singing the lyrics along with the band. When a chorus end, the pit is waking up. No time for the crowd to rest because every member of the band is giving so much energy. Special mention to Connor Denis who spoils the room with a strong drum solo.

As the show continues, the crowd becomes unity. Something that Caleb doesn't fail to mention : a lot of different people from different places are becoming ONE force. People arm in arm, singing and piting, here what could sum up a Beartooth's show.
